A graduate of The Chicago Medical School, Dr. Kest completed
his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and
subsequently opened a private practice on Park Avenue. Dr.
Kest continued his academic involvement, teaching Dermatology
and Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and the Mount Sinai
Medical Center, garnering both outstanding academic credentials
and extensive clinical experience.
Dr. Kest is equally dedicated to educating patients about
how to best care for their skin, minimize the negative impact
of aging, and prevent the need for major surgical interventions.
Dr. Kest specializes in both cosmetic and traditional dermatology,
surgery for both the face and body, and laser surgery. His
considerable knowledge of a wide array of skin conditions,
particularly those caused by the damaging effects of sun exposure, has made him a pioneer in the field of skin-rejuvenation.

system for sports enthusiasts. As co-founder of Brave_Soldier®, Dr. Kest provides the latest solutions
for the challenges facing athletes who are continually exposed
to the rigors of the environment.
Dr. Kest has been frequently interviewed by specialty and
health magazines, and he is certified by the American Board
of Dermatology. He has appeared as a dermatology expert
on several national television programs. Dr. Kest’s
professional affiliations include the American Academy of
Anti-Aging, the American Medical Association, American Society
for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
