Polypoduim leucotomus: Polypodium is a tropical fern plant of the Polypodiaceae family and has been used by Native Americans of Central America as part of the folk medicine. The original work of Ruiz in 1788 included probably the first description of this tropical fern. Polypodium leucotomos (PL) extract has been scientifically proven to provide antioxidant properties, to help maintain skin structure and immune response and provide daily maintenance against the UV photoaging process.
